It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Vickie Hwang, a devoted wife and mother, cherished family member, and dear friend. She left us on November 26, 2025, at Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by love and held in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on September 12, 1966, to Huang and Suzanne Chen in Columbia, Missouri, Vickie lived a life defined by kindness, grace, and quiet strength.  She touched countless lives with her generosity and warmth.  Her gentle smile brightened the darkest days, and her presence brought comfort to everyone around her.

Vickie is survived by her husband Eric, with whom she shared 35 beautiful years of marriage, children Michelle and Matthew, parents Huang and Suzanne Chen, sister Joanna, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Vickie will be remembered for her pleasant kindness and her creative soul. She had a deep love for arts and crafts, especially knitting, where every stitch reflected her patience and care. Her heart was fullest when tending to her garden and indoor plants, nurturing life with the same tenderness she gave to those she loved. She also found joy and companionship in her rescued husky Jeter and Pomsky Eevee, who brought her both comfort and laughter.  Vickie dedicated her life to her family.  Her love, devotion, and support will forever remain a source of strength and gratitude in our hearts.
