Olga Derzanovich Herberg, 86, of Long Branch, died Wednesday, March 18th at the St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Mrs. Herberg was born in Pennsylvania and Lived in Long Branch most of her life. She was a devoted Wife and Mother. Mrs. Herberg was a housewife who loved to take care of everyone. She loved to garden and grow many flowers and vegetables. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Herbert Herberg and her daughter, Susan A. Herberg. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Ann Herberg, Oceanport; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Raymond Dewey, Long Branch; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Peggy Derzanovich, Binghamton, NY; Her four grandchildren, Raymond and Melynda, Pompton Plains; Jolette and Dennis Wolf,Clifton Park, NY; Stephen and Kerry Bray, West Long Branch; Thomas Herberg and his fiance Lauren Grosso, Red Bank; and her 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, 10 to 11 AM, at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street at Broadway, Long Branch. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Penelope Stechmann, officiating. Interment will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
