Louis R. Bianchini, III, 70, of Shrewsbury, passed away Thursday, January 20 at home.

Born in Bethesda, MD, Louie's family moved to the Greenville section of Jersey City where he spent most of his childhood.  Louie later moved to West Long Branch where he raised a family with his wife and son. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy.

Family traditions were important to Louie, including Christmas and Birthday celebrations, the 7 Fishes on Christmas Eve and pizza every Friday. He loved nothing more than attending the events of his son, nieces, and nephews. Louie would spend his free time on his boat, watching the Giants, and renovating the house for Sherald. He also enjoyed a good novel particularly a thriller or watching Marvel movies with his son.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Louie is his wife Sherald; his children Louis R. Bianchini, IV & his wife Grace, and Cari Bianchini; his siblings Ann Marie & Bill Almasi, Gerald & Victoria Bianchini and Laura Bianchini & Ken Barcelo; his mother-in-law & father-in-law Therese & Charles Lucia; his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Anthony & Jacqueline Lucia, Charles & Geri Lucia and Kristyn & Chris D'Ambrosi and many nieces & nephews.

Visitation Monday, January 24, 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.  Mass of Christian burial Tuesday, January 25, 10:30 am at St. Michael's RC Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch.
