George F. Telmany, 65 of Aberdeen, died on Sunday, April 18.

He was born in Long Island, NY in 1956 to Gloria and George Telmany.

George helped many people grow their businesses throughout his career as a business advisor for SBDC College of Staten Island and received various awards throughout the years.

He was very charismatic and made new friends wherever he went. George loved the beach, hiking, cooking, and photographing nature.

He is survived by his husband Shawn Stearns, his sister Rita Lee of Colts Neck, his niece Noelle, nephew Zack, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial Gathering Saturday, April 24 from 1pm – 2pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel with a  service offered at 2pm. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in George's name be directed to the National Park Service ( www.nps.gov/getinvolved/donate.htm )
