Dorothea Ann Williams, 97, of Long Branch, died peacefully at her home on Sunday. Mrs. Williams was born in New York City, and lived her life in Long Branch. She was a communicant of St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, John Gaffney, in 1945, and her 2nd husband, George T. Williams, in 1996, and her grandson, Michael Tucker, died Sept. 11, 2001 in the World Trade Center attack; Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan & Dr. Thomas Tucker, Middletown, Sharon & Jack Hazard, Elberon; son & daughter-in-law, John T. & Fui Gaffney, Ocala, Fl.; Ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her caregiver, Melba Blessing, who was a blessing to the family. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral services and interment will be private.
