Barbara Ann Young, 75, of Freehold, died Saturday November 11th surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born in Staten Island, NY. She married the love of her life, John M. Young in 1965, and raised two adoring sons. Barbara and her husband relocated to Freehold over 20 years ago. She was a meticulous and proud homemaker. She enjoyed concerts and musical theater; Phantom of the Opera was her favorite Broadway show. She was fond of movies, particularly ones with Barbara Streisand, Al Pacino, and Johnny Depp starring in them. She enjoyed traveling and taking cruises to various locations. She was an active member of the Holmdel Community Church of Christ. But, most importantly, her family meant everything to her.

Barbara is predeceased by her siblings Robert Mantani, Jean Spisto and Dolores Diriwachter and her precious fur babies, Brandy and Mandy.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband John M. Young Sr.; her sons Dr. John M. Young Jr. and his wife Rosemarie, and Todd E. Young and his wife Paula; her adoring grandchildren Cassidy, Brandon, Jamie, Rebecca, Courtney and Amanda; and her 7 loving nieces and nephews.. She will be sincerely missed by all who were privileged to know her.
